Diego Ortiz Mugica began his career in photography in 1976, working for various newspapers and magazines.
Quickly, he established a reputation for being able to capture the soul of the scene on camera. He has also held two remarkable shows at the Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo in Argentina. His works have also been featured in the Collection of the Argentine Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes.

Diego attended the Universidad del Salvador and later studied lighting with Norberto Barabino, big format with Esteban Marco as well as zonal systems with John Sexton.

Each one of Diego's works fulfills the regulations of the international museums, including print conversation treatment, serialization and framing.

The Argentine Secretariat of Tourism, Department of Cultural Affairs, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and International Commerce and Workship contributed to the sponsorship of Diego's New York exhibitions.

Participated at many Art Fairs around the world such as San Francisco, Chicago, Buenos Aires, Frankfurt, won Lorenzo Il Magnifico Prize at the Biennale Internazionale dell'Arte Contemporannea at Florence - Italy.
