The protective and UV filters are totally transparent. Their main function is to protect the lens from damaging elements and to reduce haze and blue casting making images sharper. UV filters are very useful tools to protect the lens from dust, moisture and can be mounted on the lens permanently without changing the image.
Neutral Density filters give the effect that your surroundings are darker than they really are, allowing for slower shutter speeds in bright conditions without your photos being overexposed. "Clear glass used for demo purposes"
CP filters are not totally transparent and they can be manually rotated to alter the strength of their creative effect. They boost saturation, contrast and clarity and prevent washed out colours. Simply turning the ring nut can reduce the reflections that are often seen in water, glass and reflective surfaces.
Each Manfrotto filter type is available in 3 collections with an incremental feature set: Essential, Advanced and Professional.
