Working towards Net Zero

Sustainability at Manfrotto

At Manfrotto, sustainability is built into how we design, manufacture, and support our products.

As part of Videndum, we are working towards Net Zero. That means reducing impact at source, extending product life, and making practical choices that lower waste without compromising performance.

We know there is more to do. But these are some of the ways we are reducing our environmental footprint today.

Responsible Manufacturing in Italy

Manfrotto products are manufactured at our facility in Feltre, Italy. Keeping design, engineering, and manufacturing closely connected allows us to control quality, reduce unnecessary transport, and make more efficient use of materials and processes.

The Feltre plant also manufactures products for other Videndum brands including Gitzo, Sachtler, and Vinten. Sharing facilities and expertise helps reduce duplication across brands while maintaining high manufacturing standards.

To reduce reliance on grid energy, the Feltre site is equipped with solar panels that generate around one third of the facility’s total energy requirement.

Reducing Carbon Impact

We focus on reducing emissions where we have the most control. Localised manufacturing, shared components across product ranges, and efficient logistics all help to cut unnecessary freight and associated CO2.

While global distribution is unavoidable, our product designs prioritise durability and long service life. Fewer replacements mean fewer products manufactured, shipped, and disposed of over time.

Designed to Last, Designed to Be Repaired

Longevity is a core sustainability principle at Manfrotto. Our products are designed for long term use in demanding professional environments.

Wherever possible, components are assembled using mechanical fasteners rather than glue. This allows products to be serviced, repaired, upgraded, and ultimately disassembled at end of life to support responsible recycling.

Extending product life reduces material waste and helps protect the investment our users make in their equipment.

Smarter Packaging

We work to minimise packaging waste while ensuring products arrive safely. Manfrotto packaging is designed to reduce unnecessary materials and avoid single use plastics wherever possible.

We prioritise recyclable cardboard and efficient packaging layouts to reduce waste across the supply chain and make recycling easier once products are unpacked.

A Practical Approach to Sustainability

For Manfrotto, sustainability is not about adding features for marketing claims. It is about making clear design and manufacturing decisions that reduce impact, improve durability, and keep products in use for longer.

This approach supports both the environment and the professionals who rely on our equipment every day.
