Ultra Violet / Infra Red Blocking Filter

The B+W 486 UV/IR blocking filter has a sharp-cut off absorption to combat unwanted UV and infrared components. It prevents color casts and blurring for digital cameras where the IR barrier in front of the image sensor still displays some residual transmittance.
