This nifty Fluid Base is a must-have for any serious professional, and will make short work of any shoot, even in the most pressurised situations. Designed especially for smaller spaces, it’s a fantastic studio monopod, and to add to it's great functionality, you can simply convert it from a photo to a video monopod with just a few swift actions, giving you a true 2-in-1 solution.

Other standout features include it’s expertly designed fluid drag system. This makes all movements on the pan and the tilt axes incredibly smooth, so you can adjust your angle confidently, and without any unnecessary wobbles. It also means you can shoot precisely, without the hassle. And it has a ø20mm tube in the last section with an inbuilt ball joint for super easy and reliable levelling.

Setting up couldn't be easier either. The fluid base can be simply attached onto the last section of a photo monopod to create the equipment you need on the day. It’s compatible with a variety of Manfrotto models, including the 679B, 680B, and 558B stands. Plus, because it has retractable feet it stays totally stable on uneven ground. And this patented system adds to it's portability and makes it easy to store or use in small spaces.
